These materials are produced either by our in-house production facilities or through a chain of approved third party suppliers.

Inert Tips

Borough Green Sand Pits is currently only operating an Inert Landfill at Borough Green. Ex Inert Landfills completed by the BGSP Group include:

• West Hythe
• Lenham
• Strood

The Landfill is open for business for customers and our associated companies.

Waste Management Solutions

Borough Green Sand Pits, in conjunction with its associated companies Lime Logistics Ltd and Sheerness Recycling Ltd is able to offer a bespoke South East wide collection service for a range of waste products including:

• Inert soil and stones
• Concrete and brick
• Asphalt
• Utility trenching arisings
• Contaminated soils.
• Vegetation and green waste.

Waste segregating and recycling facilities located at Sittingbourne, Swanscombe, Bexley and Ashford enable BGSP to recycle more than 80% of all of the construction waste it handles. More than 100,000 tonnes of these materials, including certificated sub-base, bulk fill and manufactured topsoil, are supplied to customers throughout Kent each year.

This integrated approach to construction enables our customers to significantly improve the sustainability of their operations.

Land Raising Projects

BGSP Group offers specialist inert land-raising services, ranging from small to large-scale projects. With many completed sites, the Group has the operational expertise and technical knowledge to work with you closely, completing your project efficiently and successfully.

Functioning often under the CL:AIRE DoW Code of Practice, exercised with the oversight of the Environmental Agency.
